Another FREE PATTERN!!! "Pink Lady" Crochet Baby Hat!!!

I love this delicate little hat!  It's made using Caron Simply Soft yarn (Medium #4 Weight).  Very easy to quickly make and is a wonderful baby shower or new baby gift!

Skill Level:  Easy

Size:
0 – 3 months

Materials Needed:
-  1 skein Medium #4 yarn  (I used Caron Simply Soft Yarn in “Soft Pink”  for this hat.)
-  Crochet Hook,  Size G/4.00 mm
-  Yarn Needle  (Used for working in loose yarn ends.)

Gauge:  12 dc sts = 4 inches
            (I crochet pretty loosely.  If you crochet tighter, you may want to  
               adjust your hook to get your desired size.)


Hat Pattern
Size:  0 – 3 months

Round 1:  Using the “Magic Circle”, Ch 1.  Work 12 dc in the circle.  Join with slip stitch to top of first dc.   (12 dc)
Round 2:  Ch 2.  Work 2 dc in each stitch around.  Join to first dc with slip stitch. 
(24 dc)
Round 3:  Ch 2.  *Work 1 dc in first stitch.  Work 2 dc in next stitch.*  Repeat from * to * around.  Join to first dc with slip stitch.  (36 dc)
Round 4:  Ch 2.  *Work 1 dc in next 8 stitches.  Work 2 dc in next stitch.*  Repeat from * to * around.  Join to first dc with slip stitch.   (40 dc)
Round 5 - 8:  Ch 2.   Work 1 dc in each stitch around.  Join to first dc with slip stitch. 
Round 9 :  Ch 1.  Work 1 sc in each stitch around.  Join to first sc with slip stitch.
Round 10:  (Ruffle Row)  Ch 1.  *3 dc in next stitch, sl st in next st.*  Repeat 19 more times.  Sl st in the first sc. 
Fasten off yarn and weave in loose ends.
