FREE Crochet Coaster Pattern! "Colors of the Rainbow" Coaster Set
Well, it's almost all the colors of the rainbow! At any rate, this set of six (6) crochet coasters is so pretty! I think you will love them if you keep these for yourself or if you decide to give the set as a gift. The third photo shows the set of coasters with a crochet dishcloth made using the diagonal stitch. I will be posting more information about how to create that in a future posting.

Finished Size: Approximately 4 ½ inches in diameter
1 skein “Sugar and Cream” Cotton Yarn in Medium Blue (Color A)
1 skein “Sugar and Cream” Cotton Yarn in Yellow (Color B)
1 skein “Sugar and Cream” Cotton Yarn in Lime Green (Color C)
1 skein “Sugar and Cream” Cotton Yarn in Hot Pink (Color D)
1 skein “Sugar and Cream” Cotton Yarn in Orange (Color E)
1 skein “Sugar and Cream” Cotton Yarn in Blue (Color F)
1 skein “Sugar and Cream” Cotton Yarn in White (Color G)
Size G/4.25 mm
Yarn Needle (Used for working in loose yarn ends.)
Coaster (Make 6 - Each a different color) For each coaster use one color plus White.
Round 1: Using color of your choice. Using the “Magic Circle”, Ch 1. Work 12 hdc in the circle. Join with slip stitch to top of first hdc. (12 hdc)
Round 2: Ch 1. Work 1 hdc in same stitch as Ch 1. Work 2 hdc in each stitch around. Join to first hdc with slip stitch. (24 hdc)
Round 3: Ch 1. Work 1 hdc in same stitch as Ch 1. *Work 1 hdc in next stitch. Work 2 hdc in next stitch.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to first hdc with slip stitch.
Round 4: Change to Color G - White. Ch 1. Work 1 single crochet in same stitch as Ch 1. *Work 1 sc in next 2 stitches. Work 2 sc in next stitch. * Repeat from * to * around. Join to first sc with slip stitch.
Round 5: Change back to original color (See photo for color choices) . Ch 1. Sc in each stitch around.
Fasten off and weave in all loose ends.
