  1. It's so sweet and cute. My little Genny has got such a present from her aunt. She also knits. You must get to know each other. It would be a great possibility to broaden the scope of your hobby.

  3. Wow! Such a cool crochet this is. Really I need to learn how to make this. I followed your process of making this cute hat, but still unsuccessful. Every time i want to make this, some problems appear suddenly. And I don't know actually why this happens. Anyways thank you a lot for sharing. It would be very much helpful for the new mothers. Babies normally look very cute in these crocheted outfits. And it looks even more special if it is made by own mother.

  6. Is the scallup edge supposed to be smooth on the top and bottom edge and a ruffle on the two side edges?

  7. The ruffle should actually look pretty much the same all the way around. Be sure you are skipping a stitch between the 5 dc and 1 sc around.

    1. I am but the row before the scallop has 2 sc in each space on the sides and only sc on the end rows?

    2. Hi Jean,

You have pointed out a mistake in the row before the scallop......it should just be 1 sc in each double crochet stitch all the way around. That should make it look the same all the way around. Thanks for your comments and questions. I will fix it now.
